Long Day
The Long Day (also known as the Modhesian pause, Ywlian stop, or 30-12 39 PC in the Haracalnde) was a day within which Modhes Ywl is said to have paused time. During this pause, clocks did not tick forward and the sky did not shift, making the measurement of time impossible.
Background
Modhes Ywl decided to pause time shortly after declaring the year 465 in the Deysachni Calendar. His motives are currently unknown.

Caseic Archipelago
The West Casea Coal Union (WCCU), who found the pausing of time inconvenient for scheduling deliveries, denounced Modhes Ywl's pausing of time. The Modhes Temple then denounced this denouncement. The East Deysachin Trade Commision declared an embargo of the WCCU until the resumption of time. Deysachin coal stocks thus rose hypothetically.
In Grichi, Esiga, riots erupted demanding that Modhes Ywl unpause time. King Inswem then authorised the production of the RES Hogralib to send the rioters to Deysachin. She was constructed instantly. The RES Hogralib failed to return, so King Inswem IV sent an open letter to the Caseic Federation, suggesting that the CFF Wesia or CFF Jasfeya be sent to investigate the disappearance. The CFF Jasfeya was sent to Deysachin, with her sailors equipped with wax in their ears and blindfolds on their eyes. The crew returned via the port of Waranje, Wesia, showing signs of dehydration. The crew reported that time would resume in a matter of hours.
A G.N.U. report speculated that Prefichi was building metal birds of their own. This report was unsubstantiated, but its subject was considered a threat to G.N.U. national security.
Deysachin
Modhes Ywl immediately took credit for the pausing of time, claiming to have done so by means of a Godly ritual conducted during the execution of High Priest Mancriarr Dinddhiaelgh.
During the pause, Modhes priests gathered in a ritual to counteract evil Akarian winds with evil Modhesian winds.
The Modhes Temple also began Project Metalish Bird. In addition, they began preparations for Caseic convertees.
The funeral industries in Deysachin collapsed due to a lack of death in several nonyears.
High Priest Lwng-ehl-unde vanished completely after attempting to unfreeze time. Modhes Temple described his location as "Soon".
A collection of blindfolded and earwaxened sailors were taken to the unwaxing and deblinding facility.
Modhes Ywl declared time to have unfrozen on 1-1 40 PC.
The years following the time pause marked an era of prosparity for Deysachin, due in large part to intentional planning conducted during frozen time.
Niueyjar
The CODCNN declared a day of weaping during the pause out of respect for Empress Heidr Gullveigdaughter after she had an embarrassing interview. In addition, the CODCNN used Tieteran scientific failures as proof of the inferiority of foreign science and launched their own expedition to study the Ferrous-Crested Woopler. The CODCNN also had a plan to restart time in a contained bubble around Niueyjar to gain advantage over international rivals.
13 individuals were wounded in an Akarian terrorist attack on Niueyjar soil. Official reports claimed that evil Akarian winds were responsible for the attack.
The Church of the Dragon attempted to use replicas of the Dragon's wings to create a very good and not evil Niueyjara wind to counter evil winds.
Project Metal Bird had its first successful flight. This was praised by both the Tieteran Avian Society and FFM Jercofa Yechac. The CNN Office of Intellectual Property sent lawyers to Tietero on vacation after polite inquiries were sent to the Tieteran Royal Family, then thanked them for their honesty and understanding about the mix-up.
The Royal Palace of Niueyjar praised Modhes Ywl's pausing of time, and request that it not be unpaused until next week at earliest.
The CNN began a secretish project: Rusty Wasp Spray.
CNN Seers predicted that time would restart on its own within five days.
Tietero
The Tieteran Royal Family accepted the time pause and declared themselves exempt from the space-time continuum. However, they also denounced Modhes Ywl for the time pause, and threatened harsh penalties if time were not unpaused by 1-1 40 PC, even going so far as to make an official proclamation to the gods requesting that time be unpaused. A public ceremony was planned to be held three days later at Zamenhof First Airfield. They also announced the successful flight of Project Metallic Bird and informed the CNN that the project had no similarities to Project Metal Bird. Project Metallic Bird transitioned all resources into Project Metallic Wasp.
Tietero Electric commissioned a feasibility study for the use of evil Akarian winds for energy generation.
The Tieteran Parliament took advantage of the paused time to finalise the Government Reorganization Act.
Several Tieteran scientists were granted diplomatic immunity as they travelled to Niueyjar for to study the Ferrous-Crested Woopler, and welcomed their return upon the unsuccessful completion of their mission. The scientists were then exiled into an undisclosed area in the remote Tieteran wilderness.
The Tieteran Royal Family paused all interest rates until 1-1 40 PC to combat predatory date keeping.
