Akarian, Niueyjara, Mirest and 3rd Empire delegates met on 9-5 22 PC to discuss the recent imprisonment of Akarian diplomats by the Naval Administration.
Background
On 15-5 21 PC, the Kingdom of Akaria and Confederated Nations of Niueyjar (CNN) signed an agreement in which the CNN "granted" Akaria the right to unrestricted trade of "concepts and non-military goods" with the 3rd Empire of Faltir, the Glanes Confederation, Melor, the Naval Administration and Striltir and unrestricted trade of "concepts and goods" with the Mirest League. In exchange, the Kingdom of Akaria agreed to continue recognising Niueyjara sovereignty over Faltir and to do business with the prior mentioned Faltiran polities as though they were Niueyjara states. News of the treaty between the CNN and Akaria sparked outrage across Faltir as it was interpreted as treading on Faltiran sovereignty. Akaria dispatched ambassadors to the various Faltiran polities to assess their standing and to smooth things over.
The Naval Administration arrested the Akarian Ambassador to the Naval Administration, Kanay Arkara, on 16-2 22 PC, claiming that he had broken the law but refused to elaborate further. Living King, Artak Arkara sent Tikerus Perat to the Naval Administration to secure Kanay's release. Tikerus was arrested on 13-4 shortly after his ship landed.
Meeting
Artak Arkara intended to send a third diplomat to the Naval Administration but High Director of the Akarian Trade Fleet, Koyok Arkara, stepped in an organised a meeting between Akaria, the CNN, the Mirest League and the 3rd Empire of Faltir to discuss the situation. The delegations from the four countries met in Mirest on 9-5 22 PC.
The CNN was initially opposed to hostile action but relented when Akarian Ambassador to the Mirest League, Batok Arkara pointed out that Akaria recognised the rulers of the Faltiran polities as CNN governors and that a CNN governor imprisoning an Akarian Diplomat without cause would be a cause for war between the CNN and Akaria if the CNN did not sort out their governor and aid in freeing the diplomat.
By the end of the meeting, the 3rd Empire delegation had agreed to allow Akaria to secretly attack the Naval Administration, whilst wearing the colours of the 3rd Empire alongside the forces of the 3rd Empire. Doge of the Mirest League, Nur-Ad offered to sell mercenaries for use in the operation but no parties were interested.
Aftermath
The Invasion of the Naval Administration was launched on 3-6 22 PC. Though there were allegations of Akarian participation none carried much weight and both the 3rd Empire and Akaria denied them.
