Biography
Early life
Koyok Arkara was born in the city of Saeskar to Artak Arkara and Othal Ikane. On his second birthday Koyok was sent to Agrada to be raised by his great-uncle and Leader of the Arkara, Bantar Arkara. His great-uncle trained Koyok in the ways of reading and inscribing Arkara stones but not in how to read or write Akarian.
Koyok moved with Bantar to Ablesken in 25 TT when Bantar was elected Living King.
Chalamal Dachun
On 16-7 14 TT Koyok's friend Chalamal Dachun gave birth to a daughter named Moyarak. Chalamal was 17 at the time, and a birth at that age was seen as disgraceful by many in Akarian society, especially those in Ablesken. Shortly after the birth Chalamal began claiming that Koyok was the father of the child, a claim which Koyok did not deny. On 21-7 Bantar, as the Leader of the Arkara, recognised a pre-consensual marriage between Koyok and Chalamal and recognised Moyarak as a member of the Arkara. Bantar waved off the incident as "an act of the Kings in Brown".
Arkara Ambassador
Bantar, as Leader of the Arkara, made Koyok an Arkara Ambassador on Koyok's twentieth birthday. The False War began in late 10 PC, during which Bantar used Koyok as a spy. Koyok acted as a spy until Bantar's assassination on 14-7 4 TT.
High Director of the Akarian Trade Fleet
Koyok Arkara was made High Director of the Akarian Trade Fleet by his father, Living King Artak Arkara on 16-5 20 PC, replacing Leader of the Oken Kuzakar Oken. His father ordered him to "find out exactly what the Akarian Trade Fleet does". On 30-5 an internal investigation found that the Akarian Trade Fleet's primary function was to provide the Oken with free shipping for their enterprises at the national government's expense.
Koyok represented Akaria on 15-5 21 PC at the Meeting on the Return. He negotiated a treaty with the Confederated Nations of Niueyjar (CNN) in which the CNN "granted" Akaria the right to unrestricted trade of "concepts and non-military goods" with the 3rd Empire of Faltir, the Glanes Confederation, Melor, the Naval Administration and Striltir and unrestricted trade of "concepts and goods" with the Mirest League. In exchange, the Kingdom of Akaria agreed to continue recognising Niueyjara sovereignty over Faltir and to do business with the prior mentioned Faltiran polities as though they were Niueyjara states. Though news of the treaty sparked outrage across Faltir as it was interpreted as treading on Faltiran sovereignty.
The Naval Administration arrested the Akarian Ambassador to the Naval Administration, Kanay Arkara, on 16-2 22 PC, claiming that he had broken the law but refused to elaborate further. Akaria sent Tikerus Perat to the Naval Administration on 13-4 to try and secure the release of Kanay's Arkara. Tikerus was arrested shortly after landing. Representatives from Akaria, the CNN, the 3rd Empire, and the Mirest League, including Koyok met in Mirest on 9-5 to discuss the situation. The 3rd Empire, Koyok and the other Akarian representatives agreed to have Akaria secretly attack the Naval Administration whilst wearing the colours of the 3rd Empire alongside the forces of the 3rd Empire. The invasion of the Naval Administration began on 3-6.
