Artak's 3rd Dictate

Artak's 3rd Dictate was a living dictate issued on 18-6 20 PC which nationalising numerous Oken assets identified by Koyok Arkara as essential to the operation of the Akarian Trade Fleet.

Background

Artak Arkara removed Kuzakar Oken as the High Director of the Akarian Trade Fleet on 16-5 20 PC, claiming that Kuzakar was too busy leading the Oken to handle leading the trade fleet. He was replaced with Artak's son Koyok Arkara. The new high director was ordered to "find out exactly what the Akarian Trade Fleet does". On 30-5 an internal investigation found that the Akarian Trade Fleet's primary function was to provide the Oken with free shipping for their enterprises at the national government's expense.

Artak's 3rd Dictate was issued on 18-6 20 PC, to curb the Oken's usage of the trade fleet for their own gain.

Reactions

On the day of issuing many Oken resigned from government positions across Akaria. The Royal Palace of Niueyjar sent thoughts and prayers to the Oken following their recent mass unemployment.
