Biography
Early life
Kobartan Banokan was born on 25-1 51 TT to future Leader of the Banokan, Lambaghoi Banokan.
False War and 43rd Living Election
Kobartan Banokan supported his kadrike and their ally, the Perat during the False War.
The 43rd Living Election began on 14-7 4 TT, following Living King, Bantar Arkara's death and the end of the False War. During the False War the Perat had led the opposition to the Arkara and the Perat and their allies assumed that that would translate to the Perat's candidate – his son Eltok Perat – being elected Living King and those prior mentioned allies forming a new perikat. However, the ossbosches who were unafliiated with either-side in the coflict argued that they could not elect a candidate from the anti-Arkara side as one of them was likely responsible for the death of Bantar, leading to the unafliated Harakar Oken being elected Living King on 30-10 2 TT. Kobartan, along with the leadership of the Banokan and Perat were unhappy with this turn of events.
Ascension
Kobartan's father and Leader of the Banokan, Lambaghoi Banokan died on 3-3 2 PC. After three days of mourning Kobartan defeated his two brothers in a ceremonial duel and was proclaimed Leader of the Banokan.
Akarian Civil War
On 12-3 18 PC, the Banokan's ally, the Arkara, under the leadership of Artak Arkara released a document containing evidence that Living King, Harakar Oken's father Johnakar Oken had ordered the deaths of several notable figures across the Attu Archipelago including Kamakta Arkara and Vidar Astridson. A day later Arkara-affiliated protestors took to the streets of Ablesken demanding an explanation for the killing of Kamakta Arkara. The day after that Kobartan Banokan, along with Leader of the Perat, Eltok Perat and Leader of the Kakay, Tokoat Kakay met with Artak. At the meeting it was agreed that the focus of the current civil coflict – which the Banokan had yet to enter – should shift from fighting the Deram to killing Harakar to trigger a Living Election as Artak was confident he would win and bring him and his allies into power. However, on the same day the Weer Chronicle reported that Harakar was neither at his palace in Moss Vale nor at the Tumak Ordok in Ablesken.
On 5-5 19 PC Hochor Sartak – whilst imprisoned in Saeskar – was forced to resign as Leader of the Sartak in favour of the pro-Oken Bantoek Sartak. Leader of the Banokan. Kobartan took offence to this as he saw it as the Oken making a move for power and ordered the Banokan Army to mobilise in two parts, one to be sent north to attack to aid the Arkara – who by then had restored relations with the Perat – and attack the Bokok in the ongoing Battle of Able and one to be sent south to attack the Oken. The Sartak Army intercept the southern Banokan Army, starting the Battle of Okanaria. During the battle, the Oken and Sartak pushed the Banokan Army into the Banokan Kadrike.
On 17-12, The Weer Chronicle reported that Harakar Oken had returned to Moss Vale following his year-long vacation at an undisclosed location. Shortly after the report the Arkara and Kakay abandoned the Battle of Able in favour of marching on Moss Vale whilst the Arkara's other allies did the same. The armies of the Bokok, Oken, Sartak and Skrake engaged the armies of the Arkara, Perat, Banokan and Kakay in the Banokan Kadrike on 18-12. On 28-12 the Arkara-led forces in the Bankokan Kadrike disintegrated into chaos and Harakar's allies began moving towards Agrada. Harakar's victory, however, was short-lived as Harakar died the next day ending the civil war.
Creation of the Arkara–Banokan–Kakay–Perat Alliance
Kobartan met with the Eltok Perat, Tokoat Kakay and Artak Arkara on 21-10 21 PC and signed a document officialising an alliance between their four Kadrikes.
