Einru translated as Defenders of Light is a former designated terrorist group and current COUR member founded by Aracet Teren and Lumrern Ket. Active across Greater Utlia, what differs them from more standard organized crime groups like Lwyin-Hermaed is their ideology, considering themselves to be responsible for the return to early calm governance, praising figures like Yyme Braia and Mal Ignis. They became especially active after a series of incidents in the early 50 PCs. Their primary headquarters was in Mountange but was moved to the East Ocean Territory following a raid.

History

Forming in 49 PC as a political social club at the University of Tinlea-Ut Arts and Yeatia Department by Aracet Teren and Lumrern Ket, Einru was initially meant as a discussion forum for issues and happenings around Utlia. In 50 PC the group was dissolved by the university and the two founders expelled, in response to this the men and a number of other members of the group began operating as a gang in Orena-Ut.

Mt. Utlia and promotion

In 51 PC a cell of Einru headed by Aracet attempted to take over a radio tower and station in the Mt. Utlia National Conservation Park in central Mountange. A group of seven Mountange Rangers discovered the group around 20:02 and after noticing the members of Einru were armed, opened fire on the group, who were at this point behind cover in the operating booth of one of the radio arrays. Einru returned fire on the officers, killing three, causing the rangers to retreat after wounding one Einru member, the Einru soldiers escaped after reportedly looting the weapons off the fallen officers. Following this incident the Bureau of Internal Affairs raised Einru's designation from "Provincial Agitators" to "National Terrorists" in the Threat Designation System. The bureau also put bounties on Lumrern, Aracet and Ureste Oen for the following crimes:

• Murder
• Trespassing
• Murder of a provincial employee
• Tampering of provincial technology
• Illegal firearm carrying
• Illegal firearm use
• Domestic Terrorism (Aracet only)

Followup

After their national notoriety the group released a short manifesto in their illegal magazine Sun and Light Monthly in which they write about their ideology and Lumrern himself writes an essay about Art History in Utlia with a focus on the Unification's effect on art. During the 52 PC Snap elections the group praised and endorsed Areen Leshen in the magazine, stating "we are all going to vote for him as soon as we can"

Betrayal and resurgence

In 52 PC Ureste Oen, at the time second in command of Einru had his former friend Crymia Myrn become Lt. President and was given a deal by the Bureau of Internal Affairs, if he gave up locations for Einru strongholds he would be given full immunity. Ureste took this deal at the advice of Myrn and the locations were promptly raided, dealing a massive blow to Einru. After this Aracet moved back up the loose hierarchy of the group, they also moved their most valuable assets to a new base on Grylbo island in the East Ocean Territory. Shortly after in early 53 PC Areen Leshen and his team was exiled to the territory for treason due to unapproved continuation of the Syetin project and was replaced by Ureste Oen after insistence during a COUR meeting from Crymia Myrn. Aracet approached Areens group upon their arrival to the East Ocean and offered them a place at the Grylbo Island base, code-named Braitie, the base and its open warehouses would provide an area for the former military engineers to finish building the prototype Syetin, at this point around 80% of the way complete. Areen agreed and along with his engineers, mechanics and crew, given lodging in the rapidly expanding base.

Ideology

The ideology of Einru is based around the goal of returning Utlia to an early calm state, they consider themselves to be internationalists and the "true radicals" of Utlian progress, believing in cooperation between states to achieve a high standard of living, wealth, and equality within the Archipelago through the means of social ownership and reinstating the social dictatorship system of Yyme by removing the current democratic system put in place by Hia El. The group are heavy proponents of art, specifically the Yaern movement in post-calm Utlia. The group is heavily critical of utlian Nationalists such as the Azztanist Peoples Association or president Wlykalt Syenter despite their own admitted biased in favor of the Utlian people, Lumrern stating "we must move past the idea of Azztan Light in diplomacy, however true it may be it only harms the end goals of the Einru project" During an issue released at the start of the HoL-CNN war, Einru praised the House of Light and the war effort headed by Areen Leshen as "a step in the freeing of all people"

Opinions on historical figures

Prior to becoming a terrorist group, Einru created a numbered list of historical figures, primarily from Utlia, giving political opinions and rating the ability of the person to enact the global agenda of Einru. The first person added to this list was Yyme Braia.

Organization

Prior to the Second Civil war, Einru ran in a loose hierarchy that uses the military terms introduced by Mal Ignis after the Utlian Civil War. The High Overseer is the head of the operation, that being Lumrern Ket, second in command, called the deputy overseer is Aracet Teren.

After being admitted to COUR and becoming a government organization, Einru is ran by Reto Heyel in the Ueiet building, Tinlea-Ut.
