Biography

Early life

Eltok Perat was born on 18-6 49 TT.

False War

Eltok's broth and 2nd in line to the Leadership of the Perat, Drotur Perat was killed in a bombing on 16-7 6 TT along with both of his sons, making Eltok the new 2nd in line to the leadership of the Perat. Following the incident Leader of the Perat, Arkerus Perat sent Eltok to live with his wife Taratui's family in Dugang. Whilst in Dugang Eltok got on well with his brother-in-law and Leader of the Ikane, Ulatak Ikane. Eltok was briefly the Scribe to the Living King between the death of Drotur and the assassination of Arkerus on 4-1 5 TT, though he never served in person.

The False War ended on 14-7 4 TT with Living King, Bantar Arkara's assassination.

43rd Living Election

Bantar's death triggered the 43rd Living Election. During the False War the Perat had led the opposition to the Arkara and both Eltok and his father Storm, now Leader of the Perat assumed that that would translate into Storm's candidate – Eltok – being elected Living King. However, the ossbosches who were unaffiliated with either side in the conflict argued that they could not elect a candidate from the anti-Arkara side as one of them was likely responsible for the death of Bantar, leading to the unaffiliated Harakar Oken being elected Living King on 30-10 2 TT.

Eltok felt cheated by this, as did his father.

Storms's retirement

In 7 PC and 8 PC, Storm tried to ally the Perat with the Deram to rival Harakar. This went downhill on 23-5 8 PC when Storm got into an altercation with Leader of the Deram, Ara Deram in a meeting set up by Harakar. Storm's health continued to decline after that and Warden of the Perat, Tikerus Perat was summoned to Perisken many times to serve in Storm's place. Both Tikerus and Storm felt that Tikerus's duties as the Warden of Penskar conflicted with his duties as Warden of the Perat and, on 15-3 9 PC, Storm named Eltok the new Warden of the Perat and handed off most of his duties to him. As Warden of the Perat, Eltok sought to align the Perat with the Arkara's two remaining allies, the Kakay and the Ikane, but not the Arkara themselves.

Storm died of his injuries on 27-7 15 PC. Three days later Eltok ascended as the Leader of the Perat.

Akarian Civil War

As Leader of the Perat, Eltok had allied the Perat with the Arkara and their allies. On 12-3 18 PC, the Arkara, under the leadership of Artak Arkara released a document containing evidence that Living King, Harakar Oken's father Johnakar Oken had ordered the deaths of several notable figures across the Attu Archipelago including Kamakta Arkara and Vidar Astridson. A day later Arkara-affiliated protestors took to the streets of Ablesken demanding an explanation for the killing of Kamakta Arkara. The day after that Eltok, Leader of the Banokan, Kobartan Banokan, and Leader of the Kakay, Tokoat Kakay met with Artak. At the meeting, it was agreed that the focus of the current civil conflict – which the Perat had yet to enter – should shift from fighting the Deram to killing Harakar to trigger a Living Election as Artak was confident he would win and bring him and his allies into power. However, on the same day the Weer Chronicle reported that Harakar was neither at his palace in Moss Vale nor at the Tumak Ordok in Ablesken.

Eltok had the Perat Army enter the Deram Kadrike on 12-11 18 PC, to assist the Arkara against the Deram which would lead to the Battle of Karedone.

On 17-12 19 PC, the Weer Chronicle reported that Harakar Oken had returned to Moss Vale following his year-long vacation at an undisclosed location. Shortly after the report the Arkara and their allies began converging and moving towards Moss Vale, the Perat left a small contingent in Karedone to prevent the Deram and their allies the Mikare from following them. The armies of the Bokok, Oken, Sartak and Skrake engaged the armies of the Arkara, Perat, Banokan and Kakay in the Banokan Kadrike on 18-12. The forces of the Perat left in Karedone were defeated on 25-12, leading to the Deram and Mikare entering the Banokan Kadrike the next day. On 28-12, the Arkara-led forces in the Bankokan Kadrike disintegrated into chaos, and Harakar's allies began moving towards Agrada. Harakar's victory, however, was short-lived as he died the next day ending the civil war.

Capture of Paradise Island

Artak's 6th Dictate was issued on 2-11 20 PC granting the Perat Kadrike Harakar's Rock and Paradise Island in the Eastern Ocean. At the time Paradise Island was under the control of the Sarkist State. On 2-11 Eltok announced an operation to bring Paradise Island under his control and established the Perat Navy.

The Perat Navy, landed forces on Paradise Island on 24-4 21 PC, with the intent of capturing the Sarkists living there and securing control of the island. The island was fully captured on 26-4 with the founder of Sarkism, Sarkay Obat dead.

Eltok appointed his brother Trikot Perat to serve as the High Director of Paradise Island on 11-5. This was done both to manage the island and to move Trikot out of the way as he did not approve of the Perat's informal alliance with the Arkara. At the same time Lightning Perat appointed Trikot as the Warden of Paradise Island.

Creation of the Arkara–Banokan–Kakay–Perat Alliance

Eltok Perat met with the Artak Arkara, Kobartan Banokan and Tokoat Kakay on 21-10 21 PC and signed a document officialising an alliance between their four Kadrikes.

Dakar Dispute

The son of late Living King and Leader of the Oken Harakar Oken, Dakar Oken announced over the radio, on 1-1 22 PC that Kuzakar Oken's election as the Leader of the Oken was illegitimate and announced the beginning of an "operation" to have the Oken Kadrike placed under his control. Moments later men loyal to Dakar carried out multiple attacks across the Oken Kadrike, an attack in the Sartak Kadrike and an attack in Niueyjar on Dakar's orders, starting Dakar's Uprising. The attack in Niueyjar freed the former High Director of the East Oken Company, Ahabakar Oken, from the Clan Osteg Prison Complex, who returned to the Eastern Ocean. Ahabakar and his forces attacked Paradise Island on 30-3. Trikot Perat surrendered shortly after the attack and was promptly executed. The uprising ended on 17-1 23 PC when Kuzakar and his allies captured Dakar and the remainder of the Greater Oksken Area.

The Perat requested the Oken hand over Dakar Oken for trial over the death of Trikot Perat on 27-1 23 PC. Kuzakar declined the request citing the need to first try him in the Oken Court starting the Dakar Dispute. Several members of the Perat were arrested in the Oken Kadrike on 15-2 after attempting to use falsified documents to transfer Dakar into Perat custody. Kuzakar released the arrested members shortly after to avoid escalating the situation. Eltok had not hand in the attempt but did not dissaprove. Eltok formally requested Artak's intervention in getting the Oken to hand over Dakar to the Perat on 19-2. On the same day Kuzakar formally requested Artak not to intervene in the dispute.

Artak did not side with either party directly and instead begun "Brown walking" in an attempt to ask the Kings in Brown for advice on what to do regarding the Dakar Dispute. Artak had done this without telling anyone and the Living Press first reported that he had done this on 1-3. Artak awoke from his coma on 10-3 and the next day announced that the Kings in Brown advised him to declare Dakar Oken an "Aide to the Spirits" –a term first used in this announcement by Artak– and to execute him before all the Kadrike leaders and ossbosches of Akaria and lands beyond. Following the announcement Artak's 10th Dictate was issued. The Dictate defined what an Aide to the Spirits was, granted the Living King the right to brand someone an Aide to the Spirits, allowed the Living King to personally execute an Aide to the Spirits if the Council of Akaria is summoned before him and are given sufficient time to arrive and allowed the Living King to summon the Council of Akaria for an execution. After the Dictate was issued Artak branded Dakar Oken an Aide to the Spirits and summoned the Council of Akaria to Ablesken for his execution, which was done on 8-4, ending the Dakar Dispute. Though Dakar's execution was not the outcome Eltok had planned for he saw it as a political victory.

On the day of Dakar's execution Tyshok Perat, denounced Artak's 10th Dictate in a speech to multiple media agencies saying that it "Takes Akaria back to the Absolutist Era, when the Living King could do what he pleased and we had to live with it" and that the Ossbosche Assembly was "slowly destroying itself by supporting these [Artak's] dictates". The next day Eltok attempted to appoint Tyshok to the position of High Director of Paradise Island to get him out of Akaria as the post would require Tyshok to live in the Eastern Ocean. Tyshok rejected the appointment stating "An appointment to the Eastern Ocean is tantamount to banishment and Eltok may try to banish who he likes but I am an ossbosche and he has no authority over me". Following the refusal Eltok expeled Tyshok from the Perat. Tyshok was adopted into the Skrake on 11-4 when he married Hachoi Skrake at the request of Leader of the Skrake, Meok Skrake.
