Akaria-Niueyjar relations are the bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Akaria and the Confederated Nations of Niueyjar (CNN) and their predacessors.

History of relations

Niueyjara Civil War

On 15-5 2 PC the city of Erak was attacked by Reformers whilst an Utlian ship delivering Utlian Mor Crabs to Vidar Astridson was docked in its port. After the attack was repelled, Vidar, who was still trying to hide the Niueyjara Civil War from the outside world, had the crew of the ship detained and attempted to cover up the attack by claiming that an earthquake had injured the sailors and that they were receiving medical attention. The Akarian-Utlian Alliance came up with Operation Crab Rescue to land forces on Niueyjar and retrieve the Utlians. On 18-5 2 PC as their forces were approaching Niueyjar they were cited by a ship of the Niueyjara Royal Navy, Vidar was launched into a rage upon learning of this as he believed that they were disturbing the Cravik and began making death threats and accusations to everyone on the Inter-governmental Radio System. The Utlians were extracted on 20-5 2 PC with the Akarian-Utlian Alliance revealing their involvement shortly after, straining Akaria–Niueyjar relations. On 9-12 2 PC the Akarian-Utlian Alliance began supplying the Reformers with military equipment to try and remove Vidar from power. On 7-3 4 PC, Clan Helgen bombarded Erak with Akarian-made missiles killing Vidar along with thousands of civilians.

The Civil War ended on 15-3 4 PC with the Traditionalists victorious and the Nation of Niuyjar on bad terms with Akaria and Utlia. The Treaty of Ostag, signed on 12-10 4 PC normalised relations between the Akarian-Utlian Alliance and Niueyjar. The treaty stipulated that; neither side would detain civilians of the other without a criminal cause, Utlia would give the Nation of Niueyjar lumber as reparations for the lives lost during the Bombardment of Erak and for the next twenty years the Akarian-Utlian Alliance would not take any action that would harm any citizen of the Nation of Niueyjar.

Post-civil war

Niueyjar, now the CNN, sent Akaria 200 churgs on 23-7 9 PC.

Both Akaria and the CNN sent a delegation to the Great East-West Meeting on 28-7 9 PC in which they agreed to jointly support the Tun'ilhameng Liberation Procedure.

On 14-1 10 PC, Living King, Harakar Oken sent a book containing the rules of pitball to Council Head of the Council of Directors of the Confederated Nations of Niueyjar, Heidr Gullveigdaughter and Roy of Haute eee, Cok Ulri in the hopes of getting an international pitball league together.

The Oken of Akaria purchased industrial mining equipment from the CNN on 25-2 10 PC for use in the Dakota Mine.

Both Akaria and the CNN joined the Kelelemi War Coalition on 14-4 10 PC.

Niueyjar-Eastern Bloc War

On 12-3 18 PC the Arkara of Akaria released a document containing evidence that Johnakar Oken, father of Living King, Harakar Oken had ordered the deaths of several notable figures across the Attu Archipelago. The report revealed that the Vidar Astridson had been killed by an Akarian strike force firing a missile rather than one launched by the Reformers. The report brought Niueyjar into a state of unrest leading the Council of Directors of the Confederated Nations of Niueyjar to bring Vidar back a spirit to serve as their new Council Head of the Council of Directors of the Confederated Nations of Niueyjar. On 28-5 Ahabakar Oken of the East Oken Company with support from the Utlian Whaling and Fishing Affairs Department attacked and occupied Amogusolia Island –a holding of the East Confederation Whaling Company– in a pre-emptive attack without authorisation from Akaria or Utlia. Richard Mobyson of Clan Kustur, Head of the East Confederation Whaling Company made contact with the CNN on 2-6 and reported that he had been forced to flee Amogusolia after an attack by a joint Akarian-Utilian force and that he believed the high command of the Eastern Bloc ordered the attack. In response, Vidar ordered the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th Fleets to join the 1st in patrolling the waters around the CNN while awaiting further orders. He also called an emergency session of the CODCNN with the publicly stated intention of "finally ridding the archipelago of those dragon forsaken fleas". The CODCNN declared war on the Eastern Bloc, which included Akaria, on 4-6.

Harakar Oken issued the 1st Niueyjar Order of Condemnation on 8-2 19 PC over the CNN sending the 5th Confederated Nations of Niueyjar Territorial Defence Force to reinforce their forces on Faltir.

The day after his election as Living King, Artak Arkara recalled the Akarian Navy and ordered the Akarian forces in Faltir back to Akaria.

On 23-1 20 PC, Artak ordered the Akarian Scouting Force (ASF) to the Eastern Ocean to find Ahabakar Oken and bring him to Manser claiming that he wanted to meet him. In reality, he intended to turn over Ahabakar to the CNN. The ASF found Ahabakar in Johnakar on 27-1 and departed for Manser. When the ASF arrived at Manser on 30-1, men loyal to Artak took Ahabakar and handed him over to the CNN.

Artak and Svarn Svarndaughter of the CNN signed the 1st Fort Garikoph Agreement on 17-3 20 PC ending Akaria's involvement in the Eastern Bloc-Niueyjar War and the state of war between the two countries. The CNN agreed to withdraw from Akarian territory, recognised Akarian sovereignty over Paradise Island on Harakar's Rock, recognised waters within two nautical and reduced standard tariffs for Akarian goods by 50%. Akaria recognised the CNN's sovereignty over Faltir and Amogusolia Island, recognised the CNN's territorial waters as 3 nautical miles off their coast and created a free trade zone in Manser for the CNN. Artak's 2nd Dictate was issued later that day granting CNN citizens the right to conduct "unrestricted trade" in Manser and allocated new funding to the Oceanic Council for expanding and improving the city.

Artak's reign

Diplomats from the CNN, TLP, YDF and the Kingdom of Akaria met on Dwarf Island on 15-5 21 PC to discuss the return of the Faltirans. Though no agreement was made with the TLP or YDF an agreement was reached between the CNN and Akaria and a treaty was signed. The terms of the treaty granted the Kingdom of Akaria the right to unrestricted trade of "concepts and non-military goods" with the 3rd Empire of Faltir, the Glanes Confederation, Melor, the Naval Administration and Striltir and unrestricted trade of "concepts and goods" with the Mirest League. In exchange the Kingdom of Akaria agreed to continue recognising Niueyjara sovereignty over Faltir and to do business with the prior mentioned Faltiran polities as though they were Niueyjara states. Akarian representative, Koyok Arkara signed the treaty on behalf of the Kingdom of Akaria and the Eastern Bloc.

In 20 PC, Kuzakar Oken was elected Leader of the Oken over Harakar's son Dakar Oken. On 1-1 22 PC Dakar announced over radio that Kuzakar's election as the Leader of the Oken was illegitimate and announced the beginning of an "operation" to have the Oken Kadrike placed under his control. Moments later men loyal to Dakar carried out multiple attacks across the Oken Kadrike, an attack in the Sartak Kadrike and an attack in Niueyjar in which Ahabakar Oken was freed from the Clan Osteg Prison Complex.

The Akarian Trade Fleet established the Niueyjar Department on 13-4 23 PC to manage trade between Akaria and the CNN. The department's offices were located in the city of Helgen and with Kanay Arkara serving as High Director.

On 14-9 23 PC The CFF Wesia of the Caseic Federation finished surveying the land which had been leased to them from the Deram without Artak's consent and approved constructing a port on its coast. In response, Artak sent the CNN a sukazandassaz tree to persuade them against using the new port.
