On 1-1 920 TT Katoi Jakor announced to several bosches that he had pieced together the descendants of Ukat and that he was among those descendants. He declared the return of the Arkara (A term used at the time to describe Kadar's tribal groups following the creation of the Akarinian Confederation) and his own status as Leader of the Arkara. This began what is now known as the Arkara movement. By 875 TT, following Katoi's death of Katoi the Arkara movement had started to gain traction with several ossbosches marrying daughter's of the Arkara's new leader Daroi Arkara. Around this time the Kakay began to privatly support the movement's claims and publicly began doing so on 20-6 835 TT. By the time of of Odakot Perat's ascension as Living King in 819 TT, the Arkara movement was in full swing with many ossbosches across Akaria claiming the be of the Arkara and the Dakon, Skrake, Kakay and Ikane supporting the Arkara's claim. The 4th Durantum Perikat did not recognise this claim. Odakot and many others in his perikat considrered the Dakon, Skrake, Kakay and Ikane to be rivals to the perikat and viewed their support of the Arkara as an attempt to undermine his rule. Odakot's 1st Dicate was issed on 19-8 819 TT. The dictate recognised that their are only seventeen kadrikes. Odakot's 2nd Dictate was issued the next day. This dictate made it illegal to claim to be an Arkara. Arrests of Arkara were soon made across the country, though those living in the lands of the Dakon, Skrake, Kakay and Ikane were not prosecuted. |

Living King Yokadar Deram attempted to put a stop to the Arkara movement by issuing his 3rd Dictate on 12-5 786 TT which established the Enforcers of Living Law, a policing organisation who were permitted to enforce Living Law across all of Akaria. The ELL was to be managed by the Ossbosche of Ablesken. Almost all individuals publicly claiming to be members of the Arkara were arrested within the first three years of the ELL's existance. The Kakay and the other Arkara supporting Kadrikes helped in concealing some members of the Arkara. |

The Kakay are a Kadrike.
History
Early history
Little is known about the early history of the Kakay.
War with the Andu Kur
On 30-10 1795 TT Kadar announced to both the Arkaran and the Amarken which he led that he had travelled to the Isle of Mirrors and discovered that their gods were nothing more than powerful spirits and that that he fought with the King of the Spirits and ate him giving him a vision of the future that would allow him and his forces to drive back the Andu Kur during their next large scale attack.
The Kakay were the last drike to join forces with the Kadar's forces, doing so on 21-1 1791 TT.
The Andu Kur launched an attack against Kadar's forces on 26-4 1791 TT.
On 11-7, 1787 TT Kadar's forces routed what was left of the Andu Kur and captured the Andu city of Kanda. Kadar and the leaders of his various allies remained at the ruins of the city for ten days. On that tenth day when no Andu forces arrived, they declared the war over and began discussing what to do next. Three days after that the leaders esablished the Akarinian Confederation with Kadar as its first leader. From that point on the Kakay existed within the Akarinian Confederation.
Saekarinian War
During Aket's reign as Leader of the Akarinian Confederation (1757–1728 TT) five of the drikes on the eastern side of the Karin Plain had come together to form the Saekarinian Confederation to oppose the Akarinian Confederation, which they saw as ideologically opposed to the Andarinian religion. On 7-2 1720 TT, the Saekarinians, led by the Uvuk attacked the Kakay. The exact cause of the first strike is not known, though the most common theory is that the Saekarinians believed that either Gotiph would not respond to the attack or that he would be unable to rally the whole confederation against them. The day after the attack the Bokok came to the aid of the Kakay and a day after that Gotiph, Leader of the Akarinian Confederation ordered his messengers to travel to the drikes of the confederation to order them to move against the Saekarinians whilst leading his own troops east to aid the Kakay.
The war ended on 22-11 1716 TT when the Bojin of the Saekarinians executed the leadership of the Uvuk. By this point the other members of the Saekarinian Confederation had joined the Akarinian Confederation.
Ekank's ascension
On 2-1 1681 TT Leader of the Akarinian Confederation, Wayok, marched an army into the Weer Nation as a part of the Akarinian-Weer War. He was captured on 15-2 1681 TT and was forced to sign many cripling treaties on behalf of the Akarinian Confederation. He was released on 24-7 1680 TT and died on 3-8 1680 TT shortly after crossing the border into the lands of the Akarinian Confederation. After his death became known his son Ukat succeeded him. By this point the Akarinian Confederation had lost much of its cohesion and the authority of their leader was rarely recognised.
Dorvat of the Bokok met with Leader of the Kakay, Roek on 10-10 1680 TT and told him of Ekank of the Deram's dream in which he had spoken to Kadar, Aket, Gotiph and Wayok and that they had confered on him the right to guide the Karinians. He told of his and Ekank's desire to remove Ukat from power and replace him with Ekank. Roek trusted both the Bokok and the Deram and agreed to support their movement.
By late 1678 TT Ekank and Dorvat had recruited the Dar, Ikane, Kakay, Perat and Skrake to their cause. On 15-10 1678 TT The armies arrived at Ablesken and met little resistance as they surrounded the Tumak Ordok. Once within the ordok, Ekank confronted Ukat with his claim. To the surprise of the attacking coalition, Ukat did not challenge Ekank's claim and stepped down as the Leader of the Akarinian Confederation. Before the leaders of the seven allied drikes and Ukat, Ekank declared that he, he was the King in Green, ordered to rule over the Green Pool by order of the Kings in Brown and supported in the Green Pool by the Kadrikes who descend from Kadar, the first Living King.
1st Durantum Perikat
Upon Ekank's ascension the Kakay became a part of what would become known as the 1st Durantum Perikat.
In 1602 TT, a deal was made between Living King Karkon Deram and the members of the 1st Durantum Perikat (Dar, Ikane, Kakay, Perat and Skrake) which made up the which would allow their people to be taxed and in exchange, they as a group would decide on the next Living King. On 19-9 1602 TT Karkon Deram issued Karkon's 5th Dictate which began taxing members of the perikat. Toghon Kakay, a grandson of Karkon was chosen to succeed him as Living King which he did on 23-2 1630 TT.
The 1st Durantum Perikat came to an end on 7-10 1471 TT with Bark Dar's death.
2nd Durantum Perikat and 1st Tostai Perikat
The Kakay joined the 2nd Durantum Perikat on 14-7 1285 TT.
Matart Kakay became the Living King on 12-4 1231 TT. Martat set made many reforms to the Akarinian Confederation which culminated in the creation of the Kingdom of Akaria on 19-1 1196 TT through Matart's 227th Dictate. In the process of creating the Kingdom of Akaria, Matart fell out with the Deram over how Living King's would be chosen leading to the start of the 1st Tostai Perikat.
The 1st Tostai Perikat ended on 11-7 1172 TT with Aran Banokan's death.
Arkara movement
Chormak Skrake was elected Living King on 3-2 706 TT, creating the pro-Arkara 1st Agrada Perikat, which the Kakay were a part of. Chormak's 1st Dictate was issued on 3-8 706 TT and both nullified Odakot's 2nd Dictate and recognised the Arkara as a legitimate grouping.
Khurel Kakay was elected Living King on 22-6 641 TT. His death on 15-2 602 TT brought about the end of the 1st Agrada Perikat as Arikarin Deram was elected to succeed him.
Able War
The Kakay fought for the Arkara during the Able War (594–591 TT), which was won on 26-2 591 TT.
2nd Agrada Perikat
Following the Able War the Kakay became part of the 2nd Agrada Perikat (591–460 TT), though did not field a Living King.
Living King Gonchidor Ikane was killed on 25-8 564 TT by Bolakh Deram. His death triggered the 24th Living Election which concluded on 16-9 564 TT with Ochi Skrake being elected Living King. Shortly after his election, Ochi requested that the Deram hand over Bolakh Deram to be tried for his crimes. The Leader of the Deram, Fanachar Deram refused to hand Bolakh over citing that no crime had been commited. Ochi attempted to send the Enforcers of Living Law (ELL) to arrest Bolakh, though the Ossbosche of West Able who commanded the ELL, Hamalan Deram refused to follow the order. In response, Ochi issued his 1st Dictate on 30-11 564 TT dissolving the ELL. After this the armies of the Arkara, Dakon, Ikane, Kakay and Skrake entered and occupied the Deram Kadrike and began massacring members of the Deram and people affiliated with the Deram this massacre is now known as as the Purification of Able. Despite many prominent Deram being killed during the massacre both Bolakh and Fanachar managed to escape and retreated to the outpost of Dokraim.
3rd Agrada Perikat
In 146 TT the Deram overthrew the government of the Mikare and replaced their leader Kamachium Mikare with his cousin, Echantium Mikare. Responses to this across the Karin Plain were largely negative, with the majority of the Kadrikes, including the Kakay calling for an all-out war against the Deram. Living King Chogot Banokan of the 1st Lasken Perikat did not declare war and instead put several sanctions in place against the Deram and the Mikare. Some, including the Kakay, were not happy about what they saw as a lacklustre response. This unhappiness lead to Bantu Arkara being elected Living King on 15-3 143 TT with a new perikat consisting of the Arkara, Ikane, Kakay, Perat, and Skrake.
Hotok Kakay was elected Living King on 12-6 46 TT and reigned until his death on 20-5 27 TT.
False War
On 9-12 10 TT, the Leader of the Perat, Arkerus Perat announced that Tyshok Perat had uncovered a plot by the Arkara to try and seize more power within the Ossbosche Assembly and released the Tyshok Report which linked the Arkara to a number of high profile deaths across the Karin Plain, this brought about the False War (10–4 TT). The Kakay were one of only two Kadrikes to support the Arkara during the war, with the other bring the Ikane.
The war ended on 14-7 4 TT with Living King Bantar Arkara's death, which also ended the 3rd Agrada Perikat.
Akarian Civil War
The Kakay supported the Arkara in the Akarian Civil War (16–19 PC) and were apart of the initial invasion of the Deram Kadrike in 16 PC.
