Doron is a farming city in western T'vaqi. It borders Mholos to the south and Toha Risa to the west.
History
Previously a suburb of Toha Risa, Doron was granted township on 4-3 334 TT after a negotiation between two faction-states. The name doron (meaning beginning) was given to the settlement because of its rapidly-growing agricultural production. Situated on a large portion of arable farmland, Doron's growth as a city happened quickly after its formation. Doron's population was in excess of 10,000 only a year after it split off from Toha Risa.
Doron retained its city status throughout the Second Unification of T'vaqi, absorbing nearby smaller towns into its area over the decades that followed.
Post-Calming, Doron experienced an enormous economic boost from the agricultural boom that occurred in T'vaqi during the late 70s and early 80s PC. A consequence of this growth has been the invasion of the dêřân shrub, which was imported recklessly from Hapšâw. Though efforts were taken to limit its spread, the shrub is now commonplace in the city.
Economy
Doron is a farming city. Most of its exports consist of produce items or the technology used to grow them, such as hydroponic machines. A large portion of Doron's produce is grown in bunker farms.
